![]() Instead of spending resources on what simply works in the game (like vehicle appearance), why not to improve areas which really are screaming for changes? Over more than a decade of continuous development, the real areas calling for improvement have been left alone. To conclude, I believe models in FS17 were very decent already. When starting engine, sounds especially are asynchronous to revs. But yet, they don’t match the tachometer. They are way deeper than in any of FS versions. High quality tractors are literally jumping when crossing slope that is not made in alignment to world. ![]() Landscaping allows smooth slope only if done at right angle. Light poles illuminate very little area, no lights across game have volumetrics. Light and illumination quality has a long way to go. Have you tried loading pallets on a trailer? Spinning, shaking, flying, and throwing other stuff around. Pallets, production chains: oh dear, better would not have released them at all. When fertilising, harvesting, ploughing (you name it) texture change is worse than in Minecraft (between biomes). ![]() Vehicles have unrealistic grip to ground (inertia, substrates are ignored). To me this gameplay feels like having GTA V cars driving in Minecraft world. The model (vehicle, pallet, etc.) resolution absolutely mismatches resolution of worlds ground plane, different substrate (mud, dirt, gravel). In fact, FS22 is the most inconsistent version of FS you can get. Difference between each major FS version is very little. ![]()
